Mark Dunlea on Green New Deal, Climate, Rochester

Description: Mark Dunlea, the recent Green Party candidate for State Comptroller, will speak in Rochester this Wednesday Dec. 5th at 6 PM.

Here is an op ed on climate change that Mark recently wrote for the Times Union. -- The UN says we have 12 years left for an emergency worldwide mobilization to address climate change. We need New York to provide national leadership by enacting the strongest climate change agenda possible. The Off Fossil Fuels act would immediately halt all new fossil fuel infrastructure, transition to 100% clean renewable energy by 2030 (i.e., net zero greenhouse gas emissions), and require all new buildings to be at least net zero carbon emissions

Wed. Dec. 5 in Rochester St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2000 Highland Avenue, Rochester 14618. Please join Mark Dunlea, Green Education and Legal Fund ; Neely Kelly, senior NYS organizer for Mothers Out Front; Al Hibner, Citizen's Climate Lobby; Benny Smith, Rochester Youth Climate Leaders; and Ben Frevert, Rochester People's Climate Coalition for a round-table discussion
