Believe Survivors - Women's Voices Must Be Heard and Respected

Description: Believe Survivors - Women's Voices Must Be Heard and Respected
Saturday, October 6, 5:30 pm
Liberty Pole, Downtown Rochester.

Today the Senate is expected to vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, a lifetime appointment.

We believe he is unfit for this appointment. We feel anger, hurt, betrayal, rage and so many other emotions that the voices of so many women, especially Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, were ignored, not valued, and mocked.

This peaceful vigil is for the Rochester community to come together and to stand in solidarity with the women who spoke out against Kavanaugh and other survivors who courageously told their stories. Survivors must be believed. Women's voices need to be heard and respected.
