4 day workshop on Gender Equity and Reconciliation

Description: An upcoming workshop on Gender Equity and Reconciliation addresses so much of what has been coming to national attention lately: women's need for men to become authentic in their relationships, not only with women but also with each other. Both men and women to heal from the deep suffering and human diminishment caused by society's millennia-long socialization of its boys into male dominance, and girls' training to accept it.
"Liberation from Gender Oppression" is the workshop title, but that doesn't nearly address the depth to which the pioneers of the gender equity reconciliation movement will sculpt this experiential workshop. Attendees will encounter and explore guided by the pioneers in this work, Cynthia Brix and Will Keepin, our own and each others' wounds and hidden grieving that have come from the way this society – and almost every civilized society on Earth – trains its girls and boys to become women and men.

This will be an intensive workshop experience led by Cynthia Brix and Will Keepin, founders of Gender Equity Reconciliation International, an institute devoted to presenting these workshops and to training facilitators all over the world to take up this work.

This is foundational work, as it addresses the root of so much that society engenders into making males dominant and women dependent. Amazingly, changes start happening right away in these in-depth workshops —a clue that the work touches our deepest humanity.

This workshop, hosted by the M.K. Gandhi Institute, is a 4-day event from Thursday, October 11, 7:00PM through Sunday, October 14 noon, and will be held at the Clover Center, 1101 Clover St., Rochester, NY.
