Rochester Community Ice Cream Social

Description: Rochester Community Ice Cream Social:
“What Does Being an American Mean to You”?

In these divided times, the greater Rochester community is invited to come together over a dish of good local ice cream and share our perspectives on what being an American means to us, what’s hard for us about being Americans, and how our perspectives on this have changed. This will help us see the people behind their positions, expand our own understanding of what it means to be an American, and deepen our collective appreciation of what it means to be an American in these times.

The event is 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, on the front lawn of Asbury United Methodist Church (weather permitting), or inside 1010 East Ave. (next door to the church) if rainy. The event is free, but RSVP by Monday, June 25.
