PeaceWorks Rochester

Safe Shape Tour

Description: Please join us in Rochester on May 4 for our Safe Shape Tour across New York about how to respond to the epidemic of overdose and opioid addiction.

Come learn about safer consumption spaces—a proven public health intervention that provides a safer space for people to use drugs with supervision from medical staff and links people to health care and treatment.

You can visit Safe Shape, a “pop up” exhibit that operates as a model of a safer consumption space (SCS) and attend a screening of “Everywhere But Safe,” a documentary about New York State’s opioid epidemic, followed by a panel discussion and community dialogue.
