Rochester Committee on Latin America ROCLA begins the 2019 – 2020 season with a presentation about PERU Carlos Carrillo is a political scientist and sociologist with an emphasis in international relations. He has worked as a professor at the Ricardo Palma University and at the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He teaches courses related to the humanities and social sciences. His topic will be: "The Peruvian reality: Neoliberal hegemony—crisis and violence."
