Description:
What: People Worldwide Are Working To Reverse Global Warming. What’s Our Part? Where: Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse – 150 French Road, Rochester, NY 14618 When: Thursday Oct 25, 7-8:30 p.m. How do we stay hopeful and engaged in the face of disturbing news about global warming? The impact of global warming is so huge that it seems beyond us to do anything to help much. But there are solutions and possibilities for us to use as we become more deeply engaged in creating a better world for future generations. Project Drawdown, an international movement of ordinary people that works to reverse global warming, has ideas to offer us as we add our energies to the effort. Sue Staropoli, facilitator for the local branch of Pachamama Alliance, mother, grandmother, global citizen and “sacred activist” will present the latest thinking in this effort and guide our discussion. This program is co-sponsored by the Pachamama Alliance. Call 733.2555 to let us know you’re coming.
