12:00pm [12:00pm] Silent Vigil for Peace
Description:
The Rochester Chapter of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship invites you to join us on one Monday of each month for a silent vigil (meditation) for peace. The next vigil will be Monday, February 5, from 12 Noon to 1 pm, at the Federal Building, 100 State Street. Please bring your own blanket, cushion and/or chair (and groundcloth or piece of plastic if it is wet). If you can't come for the full hour, please join us for as long as you can. This is an opportunity for us to publicly express a non-violent, compassionate, thoughtful alternative to aggression and conflict. We hope to see you there. For the Rochester BPF, Jay Thompson
