7:00pm [7:00pm] More of the Same in Central America

He argues that, “From Democrats to Republicans, from Obama to Trump, U.S. military, economic and ‘drug enforcement’ policies perpetuate the violence and repression, poverty and racism, corruption and impunity that force tens of thousands of Central Americans to flee their homes, communities, and countries, year after year, decade after decade.” Downtown United Presbyterian Church* 121 North Fitzhugh Street Rochester Grahame Russell is a lawyer and global human rights and development activist. For over 10 years, Grahame lived in Mexico and Central America, working with grassroots organizations and NGOs. Since 1995, Grahame has been co-director of Rights Action. Rights Action raises funds for community-controlled projects in Guatemala, Honduras, Chiapas, El Salvador, and Oaxaca.
