Film trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ9zQ7_KwCI Come join us on February 26 at 2 p.m. for the showing of “Neither Wolf nor Dog” at Ganondagan Historical Site. Thousands of people have been standing firm to protect the water at Standing Rock in North Dakota. They began this important vigil in spring of last year, and have continued right through the present, enduring blizzard conditions, as well as repeated brutality and various attacks by those who want to see an oil pipeline placed through ancestral grounds. This oil pipeline would endanger the drinking water for 18 million people. Our intention is to raise awareness for the water protectors, raise some funds to support their/our cause, view an awesome movie and come together as community for an afternoon this winter. We are excited and blessed to announce that Al White, Cayuga Nation, who has spent time at Standing Rock, will join us for a brief talk about what it is like at the Standing Rock camps. Cost is $10 per person. And, bring your checkbook because we will be asking for further donations. These folks need firewood, food, medical supplies, legal aid, sanitary needs and much more. Know, too, that this is the beginning of an important movement to protect not only the water of this great land, but to awaken a much-needed grass roots movement to change our society’s thinking about what we are doing to the earth and to the future for our kids and grandkids. Interested in Becoming a Sponsor? We are looking for a few more sponsors for this movie. The movie does not come free, and the sponsorship helps offset the cost of the film and thus enable us to send more funds to the water protectors. Sponsors gain 2 tickets-admittance to the film, a pre-movie tour of Ganondagan, a listing in the film program and the gratitude of the organizers!
